I liked the fact that it had it's own kitchen and cooking area because it made it easier with small children. Also the fact the we could still smoke in our room.

When we first arrived it was almost 1am and the lady that was working behind the desk was sleeping and she wasn't even an actual attendant but a housekeeper. So she gives us our room key and we head up to our room with four children 7 and under tired and ready to go to bed. Well we get to the room and we hear voices in there and so we knocked. A man came to the door, but did not open it. It was very strange because it smelled weird and we could hear a woman and another man laughing and carrying on in there. So we went back downstairs and tried to figure out what was going on because we had booked a smoking room 2 weeks prior. So she gives us another room and assures us that it's smoking and there were no more issues until the morning when the front desk called and my husband went down to talk to them and they informed us that the lady on duty last night did not know what she was doing and then told my husband the room we had been in was not a smoking room, we were not charged any extra fees because it was the lady's fault. We were finally moved to a smoking room and the lock on the door did not have the latch to hold the metal piece together so we had to pile our luggage in front of the door at night to make sure the kids couldn't just open the door and run off.

This place is located right in the middle of Jackson, next to Woodfield Mall restaurants, and the new room with a kitchenette is perfect.

Had a decent stay for service at the front desk, and would stay here again. The hotel was fairly clean and had clean rooms. Booked a room with refrigerator. The location was good - short way from everywhere we wanted to go. The property was a reasonable base for enjoying a nice area.

The service at the front desk was excellent. The room was well-priced and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. The room came with a writing desk and a recliner. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of Jackson, and very close to O'Hare airport, restaurants, and stores.

As a woman traveling alone, I found the Extended Stay America to be a safe and comfortable choice. The well-maintained and clean rooms exceeded my expectations, offering a great value for the money. Additionally, having a kitchen with real plates, pots, and pans made it more convenient. I also appreciated the option to smoke in our room, as it can be a rare find in hotels.

The overall experience at the Extended Stay America felt cosy, with nothing being too much trouble.
